Motor impulse ranged from the unassuming 1/2A (there were 7 fired) to three majestic M1939’s (as well as lesser M’s). Of all the motors launched, 502 were black powder, 441 were composite, and 14 were hybrid. The most popular by a wide margin, accounting for half the BP flights, was the venerable C6. There were enough C motors fired to match the total impulse of a K660. (Now that would be a cluster – Andy Woerner, are you taking notes? Get Dennis Dinga to arrange the flash pan ignition.) | |
