Acknowledgements

Congratulations are also in order for the various ROC members, Board Members, and volunteers who worked very hard to make this launch a great success. The fireworks display put on by the crew from PyroSpectaculars and accompanied by music provided through the A/V skills of our own John Van Norman was, well, spectacular.

Special thanks also goes out to vendors RocketMotion and What'sUp Hobbies who provided motors and rocket supplies, Rocket Rage, purveyor of first class recovery systems, Photos by Nadine for great photography, and TNT's Café (760-243-3033) who supplied much needed food and drink on the playa.

We'd also like to thank the above vendors, and the IGA Lucerne Valley Market and Hardware store (760-248-7311) for supplying the many raffle prizes!

Finally, no report would be complete without acknowledging the crucial support provided to hundreds of desert denizens by porta-potties supplied by Alpha Omega Septic Service (760-248-7980), “the last word in used food”.
